Spiced Grapes recipe

Ingredients:

1 cup of cider vinegar.
1 cup of brown sugar, packed.
1 cup of sugar.
1 cinnamon stick.
1 teaspoon of allspice.
6 whole cloves.
1 bay leaf.
6 cups of California grapes.

Directions:

Combine the cider vinegar, sugars, cinnamon, allspice, cloves and bay leaf in a 6-quart pan.

Bring to the boil; then simmer for 5 minutes.

Using a toothpick, pierce the skin of grapes. Place in a large bowl.

Pour the vinegar mixture over the grapes and marinate for 1 week, stirring every couple of days so to flavor grapes evenly.

Refrigerate up to 1 week.
